The National 600 Bowling Club, Inc. conducts a mail-o-graphic singles tournament for its members. This tournament will be held from January 23rd through February 12th, 2017. To enter the tournament, there are two forms to be used. For the 2017 tournament, the entry form with entry fee(s) must be returned to the above address postmarked no later than January 17, 2017. League scores for the dates of January 23 through February 12, 2017 will be used. You may enter in each league that you are a member, however, entrant may cash only once in each division entered. The score verification form must be returned postmarked no later than February 20, 2017.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE A COPY OF YOUR LEAGUE RECAP SHEET WITH CURRENT AVERAGE AND SIGNED VERIFICATION FORM.

An Incentive Award will be given to the State 600 Club with the most entries in the tournament. Please specify what 600 Club you belong to. If you do not have a local 600 Club, please use your local association. We are challenging each of you to bring in at least one new entrant to our Mail-o-Graphic Tournament. Remember, each entrant must be a member of the National 600. Click here for a membership application.

There are five (5) divisions used in this tournament:

  • Super Senior Division – Age 70 and over (proof of age required)
  • Senior Division – Age 55 to 69 (proof of age required)
  • Division A – 180 average and over
  • Division B – 179 thru 165 inclusive
  • Division C – 164 and Under

Senior Division and Super Senior entrants are asked to submit identification showing their age or birth date. A photocopy of a driver’s license is the most common form that will fulfill this requirement. Senior Division and Super Senior entrants may also enter the same league scores in A, B or C Division, but that would be two entries and each would require a separate entry form and entry fee of $10.00.

This tournament is handicapped at 90% of the difference of 235 less your average.

Awards are presented to the winners in each of the five divisions. A special cash award will be presented for the high scratch series and high scratch game in each division. Prize checks and the prize list will be mailed to the winners by April 15, 2017.

The entry fee is $10.00 PER ENTRY: Prize fund $7.00 and $3.00 for expenses. The prize fund will be returned 100%. Checks should be made payable to National 600 Bowling Club, Inc.

Mixed Doubles Coming Up!

Mixed Doubles Tournament is just around the corner!  Mixed Doubles this year will be held at Park Center, the weekends of January 14/15 and 21/22.  2 squads each day at Noon and 3:30.  You can bowl as many times as you would like (just have to change partners).

Adult Youth Results Posted

The results of the 2016 Adult/Youth Doubles Tournament have been posted.  The tournament was held November 5th and 6th at Spectrum Lanes.  Titleists this year include Collin Clark/Chris Clark, Isaiah Waite/Michael Waite, and Madison Cummings/Samantha Brown.

Officers Tournament Results – Team Noffke/Jones Wins

The officers Tournament is held each fall, and allows each league to be represented by up to four of it’s officers, bowling in a Doubles format.  Open to all Officers of all Certified leagues in the Greater Grand Rapids USBC.

This year the event was held at Fairlanes on October 8th.  We had 30 teams compete.  The team from Roll-Away Lanes of Paul Noffke and Herbert Jones earned the top spot with a 1,509 handicap score.
