**Be a Part of a National Bowling Event**

The 2022 National Junior Gold Tournament is being held in Grand Rapids this July. This is a very prestigious tournament for Youth bowlers from all over the United States. About 4,000 Youth bowlers will be visiting our community and West Michigan, including Muskegon and Lansing.

Many volunteers will be needed to provide a great tournament experience for these bowlers. The centers in Grand Rapids that will be involved are Eastbrook Lanes, Fairlanes, Spectrum Lanes, and Westgate Bowl. You may volunteer at any of these centers.

What is required? You must be a USBC member. You must be SafeSport trained. You must be a Registered Volunteer. You will need an email address. If you have never been certified (sanctioned) USBC will pay for your membership. The SafeSport training is free. It is an online course that teaches us how to keep our youth safe from bullying, shaming, and many forms of abuse.

The Registered Volunteer program is a background check. Another means of keeping our Youth safe from potential harm. The cost of this background check will also be covered by USBC.

Interested? Volunteer signups are happening now through an online process. Click on the flyer below for additional volunteering information, and watch for our upcoming newsletters and Facebook page for the latest updates!
